Technology Division Manager, Sonoma County Libraries

Terbovich is currently the Technology Division Manager for the Sonoma County Libraries, a system of 15 locations in rural and suburban Sonoma County, California. Terbovich has worked in Sonoma County Library during the past three-and-a-half years, bringing innovative technology service programs to the more than 250,000 registered patrons of this largely rural library system. She is a nationally recognized Library Technology Leader who began her library technology career in Montana, in the pioneer days of Internet access and has managed technology services in many rural and suburban public library systems throughout the West. Terbovich served for nearly nine years as the CTO for Maricopa County Arizona Public Libraries and has worked in multiple public libraries in Southern California, including one year in UCLA Libraries. Terbovich’s passion in public libraries is about service to the underserved, particularly as it relates to delivering technology that is essential for living in the 21st century. Sonoma County Libraries, under Terbovich’s leadership, joined CENIC network in November 2018 with a 10-Gbps connection for the libraries out to the Internet. Terbovich currently leads Sonoma County Library’s SonomaFi hotspot lending program, allowing patrons to check out the Internet from any one of Sonoma County Library’s 15 branch locations.
