CEO, GeoLinks
Skyler Ditchfield is the Co-Founder and CEO of GeoLinks, an enterprise telecommunications company and Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) with the largest fixed wireless network in the United States. With a founding mission to close the U.S. Digital Divide, Ditchfield actively works to change and influence the reform of broadband funding and spectrum policy on both a state and federal level. Consequently, over the past five years, Ditchfield has led GeoLinks in acquiring more than $300M in government funding for rural broadband expansion and has been appointed to a variety of national boards and associations, including (but not limited to) the FCC’s Broadband Deployment Advisory Committee’s Disaster Response and Recovery Working Group and Streamlining Federal Siting Working Group, the Schools Hospitals and Libraries Coalition’s (SHLB) Strategic Advisory Committee, and the FCC Advisory Board for Wireless Internet Service Providers Association.
A successful serial entrepreneur and former Network Engineer II for MCI Worldcom in Silicon Valley, Ditchfield’s business acumen and technical expertise have proved vital in establishing key partnerships and acquisitions since company inception with entities and technologies such as One Stop VOIP, Vectus, TPx Communications, Curvalex, and 100% of Verizon’s national fixed wireless spectrum transacted at $4.6B in 2017. Heading into 2023, Ditchfield is actively preparing GeoLinks for further network expansion alongside front and backend automation, so GeoLinks’ customers have as much data readily available at their fingertips as possible.
Within his company, Ditchfield is passionate about cultivating the best culture around. His dedication and leadership have earned him and GeoLinks various accolades such as “Top Entrepreneurial Companies in America” by Entrepreneur Magazine; Inc. Magazine’s “Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America”; the Corporation for the Education Network Initiatives in California (CENIC) “Innovations in Networking and Corporate Partnership Award”; the City of Camarillo’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” award; and both Special Congressional and California Legislature Assembly Recognition for “Outstanding and Invaluable Service to the Community.”
