Executive Director, Technology Services, Sacramento County Office of Education

Jerry Jones is the Executive Director of Technology Services for the Sacramento County Office of Education. Jerry has worked in various IT roles in education for over 29 years. His team maintains a 100 Gigabit dark fiber network for the Sacramento County school districts, provides technology infrastructure support and develops multimedia projects and web applications. He also serves as the Disaster Recovery Subcommittee Co-Chair for the CCSESA Technology Steering Committee, which created a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) Template, Preparedness Checklist, and Guide to help school districts and COEs create their own Disaster Recovery Plans (located at https://bit.ly/k12drp). Jerry also serves on the California IT in Education (CITE) Board of Directors as a Director at Large.
