Casasús has a degree from Universidad Iberoamericana and a Master in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School. He has held the following relevant positions: Chief Financial Officer of Telmex 1990-1991; President of Mexico City’s water commission 1992-1994; Under Secretary for Communications and Technological Development in Mexico’s Federal Government 1994-1996; President of Comisión Federal de Telecomunicaciones, the Mexican Telecommunications Regulatory Commission 1996-1998; Since 1998, he has been Director General of Corporación Universitaria para el Desarrollo de Internet (CUDI), Mexico’s Research and Education Network; Since 2015, he has been Chairman of the Board of the Latin American Research and Education Network (CLARA); Since 2013, he has been Chairman of the Board of Mexico's first Internet Exchange Point. |
