Rowland Baker has been an educator in primary and secondary education for over thirty years. He served as a teacher, principal, director of technology, and Deputy Superintendent at the Santa Cruz County Office of Education. Mr. Baker worked with a Team from MARI and the Naval Postgraduate School in the s90's to install one of the First Educational Networks in California. He has also directed several statewide projects for the California Department of Education. He has presented nationally and internationally on many topics and is the recipient of numerous awards for his work with schools.
