Nick began as an intern at CENIC in 2013 and has, over time, evolved into a seasoned Network Architect serving CalREN through CENIC. After initially being hired in the Operations group, he grew into an engineering role in what was then called the Internet Services group - taking on responsibility for all peering, caching, and IP transit connectivity for CalREN. Nick departed CENIC in 2021, seeking experience in the for-profit world, where he joined two startups and returned to CENIC at the end of 2023 as a Network Architect in the Network Engineering (previously Core Engineering) group.
