Luwen (Vivian) Huangfu joined the Fowler College of Business faculty shortly after receiving her Ph.D. from the University of Arizona. Since then, she has been a productive researcher and an active reviewer, particularly in artificial intelligence, business analytics, public health, machine learning, and data mining.
Her research has yielded over 30 peer-reviewed scientific articles, especially top-tier AI conference proceedings and journals such as IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence, Association for Computing Machinery's Annual Conference on Multimedia, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Journal of Systems and Software, and Information Processing and Management. Her research has recorded more than 300 citations.
Huangfu is a Grants Research and Enterprise Writing Fellow and has received numerous grants (e.g., Department of Energy, National Institutes of Health, and National Security Agency).
