Jeannette Godbey is the Information Technology Operations Manager for San Francisco’s Exploratorium, a nonprofit museum of science, technology and arts. During her time there, she’s been key in the development, implementation, and support of the museum's (hybrid) infrastructure. She helped the museum navigate technology challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and served on the COVID Task Force.

She’s been involved in complex projects of various scales, including IT security for visits from heads of state, moving the museum from its original location at the Palace of Fine Arts to Piers 15 and 17 on the San Francisco Embarcadero, administering transaction systems, and helping the museum become Net Zero.

In her off hours, Jeannette explores and photographs parks and wild spaces on foot, on skis, or from cliff sides. She studied computer science at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, but increasing interest in the arts led to dual degrees in New Media and Philosophy.
