Frances Sakaguchi is currently the Regional Economic Development Integrator (EDI) for the US Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA), Seattle Regional Office (SRO). As the EDI, Frances expands and enhances EDA’s capacity to be impactful through collaboration and coordination with other federal partners and stakeholders. Prior to EDA, she worked for multiple federal agencies in diverse sectors, including wildlife biology, land resource management, environmental specialist, outdoor recreation planning, and oversaw numerous federal programs. The EDA SRO region covers eight states: WA, OR, CA, ID, NV, AZ, AK, HI, and the US Pacific Island territories.
