Dennis Cagampan is the Director of Engineering at CENIC. He is responsible for Network Architecture, shaping the future of CalREN; Systems Engineering, supporting CENIC’s internal infrastructure and end users; and Software Engineering, which develops custom tools and enhances commercial platforms. Dennis was the principal architect of CENIC’s Network Next Generation Infrastructure (NGI), leading the transition to an MPLS-based architecture. He is currently leading Systems NGI, transforming CENIC’s infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code to improve reliability and accelerate service delivery. He is also the principal architect of CENIC’s cloud-hosted monitoring platform, designed for high resilience across multiple availability zones and regions.

Dennis has over 19 years of experience supporting critical, bleeding-edge systems, including roles at Hyperloop and HPE.
