Technology Engagement Manager
Amanda is the Technology Engagement Manager at the Ventura County Library, where she has been supervising the department employees and working on the Library’s many IT projects and services for over 6 years. She has over 30 years of IT experience in various fields including Education and Corporate sectors. Amanda has recently written and submitted three successful California Collaborative Connectivity (CCC) grant applications on behalf of the Ventura County Library to upgrade network technology throughout VCL’s twelve branches. She oversees the Library’s Category 1 and 2 E-Rate applications annually, as well as the CalREN connection through CENIC under contract with ICOE. She is working with Ventura County’s Chief Information Security Officer to launch a public Cybersecurity education program.
