The Quilt
Jennifer Griffin is the Program Director of The Quilt, a national coalition of 42 non-profit research and education networks across the country. Members of The Quilt provide advanced network services and applications to over 900 universities and thousands of other educational and community anchor institutions. Through the collaborative forum of The Quilt, member organizations have access to a broader set of expertise and knowledge than any one single organization.
Since 2011, she has been providing program and project coordination and works closely with the President and CEO, Quilt members, Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and technology vendors. Through The Quilt, Jennifer connects with the National Science Foundation, National Research Platform Internet2 and other national organizations on various projects that advance the public service mission. Her previous experience includes serving the Network Engineering and Telecommunications Section at the National Center for Atmospheric Research which inspired her commitment to support the Research and Education Community.
